In Essential Beliefs - We Have Unity
"There is one Body and one Spirit...there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all..."
Eph 4:6
In Non-Essential Beliefs - We Have Liberty
"Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgement on disputable matters...Who are you to judge someone else's servant?  To his own master he stands or falls...So then each of us will give an account of himself to God...So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God."
Romans 14:1, 4, 12, 22
In All Our Beliefs - We Show Charity (love)
"...If I hold in my mind not only all human knowledge but also the very secrets of God, and if I have faith that can move mountains--but have not love, I amount to nothing at all."  I Cor 13:2
NCC Essential Belief Statements
GOD... There is one eternally existing true God who is infinitely perfect, and exists in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

JESUS CHRIST...who is the person of God, the Son.  He took upon Himself a human nature, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin.  He suffered crucifixion, was buried, bodily resurrected and ascended into heaven to God the Father.

THE HOLY SPIRIT...is a divine person of God sent to indwell, guide, teach, empower the believer and convict the world of sin, judgment and righteousness.

THE BIBLE...is the fully inspired Word of God, the only infallible rule for faith and practice.  2 Tim 3:15

MAN...was created in the likeness and image of God and, yet, entered into a fallen state of sin through the rebellious acts of the first man, Adam and Eve.  All men, being born from Adam, are born separated from God in this fallen state of sin and must be reconciled to God.

SALVATION...reconciliation of man to God has been provided for, once and for all, through the shed blood, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Those who repent of their sin, accept by faith this sacrifice and are born of the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life and are restored to fellowship with God.

THE INFILLING WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT...it is the will of God that every believer be filled with the Holy Spirit, thereby receiving power for holy living and effective service.  Also, included are the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit as depicted in scripture.

SECOND COMING OF CHRIST...is the literal and visible return of Christ to earth and the consummation of His kingdom.

THE CHURCH...consists of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, redeemed by His blood sacrifice and are born of the Holy Spirit.  Christ is the Head of the Body, the Church; which has been commissioned by Him to go into all the world as a witness and preach the gospel to all nations.
The body of believers in Christ in a local assembly are those who gather together for worship of God, for edification through the Word of God, for prayer, fellowship, the proclamation of the gospel, and the observance of the ordinances of baptism and the Lord's Supper (Communion).
We believe that ministry gifts were given to the Church which are apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the Body of Christ to carry out the work of the ministry of the gospel.

HEALING...for the body, soul and spirit was provided for by the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

TITHES...are to be given to the local church assembly to which a believer is connected and receiving spiritual nourishment and support.  We recognize 10% of our income as the biblical standard of tithe while gifts and offerings are considered above and beyond that standard.

THE UNBORN LIFE...begins at conception and is due the right of the sanctity of human life.

SANCTITY OF THE MARRIAGE RELATIONSHIP...exists only between a man and a woman.

SEXUAL SINS...such as adultery, fornication and homosexuality...are not sanctified by God as acceptable human sexual practices or lifestyles.  The person engaging in these behaviors is practicing a sinful act against God and His precepts.  Just as any other sinful act as described in the Bible, they are in need of the cleansing act of repentance and the restoration of the soul and spirit by the love and mercy of God.
