Dave Allen - Senior Pastor
Together, Pastor Dave and Alli Allen are committed to seeing the Holy Spirit
minister freely among His people including the youth and children of New Covenant Church. As Sr. Pastor, Dave is invested in seeing that the Great Commandment motivates the church
to fulfill the Great Commission, as the Great Companion leads. He believes that the church must love the city of Thomasville through outreach and that this is how the church remains relevant in the Thomasville area.
Pastor Dave and Alli were married in December, 1989 and immediately started their ministry in DePere, Wisconsin as Youth leaders of Liberty Assembly of God. From there, they both attended and prepared for the ministry at Christ For The Nations Bible Institute in Dallas, Texas. In 1999 Dave was licensed and ordained where he and his wife served as Sr. Associate Pastor and Administrative Assistant to Dr. Jeffrey Seif of DeSoto Community Church.
In September of 2001 The Lord called Pastor Dave and Alli to minister on Cherokee tribal
land at Church of the Lamb in Robbinsville, NC to the Snowbird mountains of Southern Appalachia. During the following 9 years they coordinated various outreaches to the Cherokee Indian community and surrounding county.
In 2010 Pastor Dave and Alli answered the Lord’s call to lead New Covenant Church. With their energy, prayerful leadership and heart for people, the church is quickly growing into a dynamic resource center with a local and world impact. Pastor Dave and Alli have been married for over 20 years and are blessed to have three children including Dj, Rebekah and Levi.
Eldership:
New Covenant Church has seven sitting elders. The purpose of these Elders is to support and work with the Sr. Pastor as they share in the spiritual responsibilities of advancing Christ's Kingdom through NCC.
Deaconate:
New Covenant Church has 17 active deacons. These servant leaders share in the responsiblities of serving the physical needs of New Covenant body as the Lord directs.


Woody Sanders
Praise & Worship Ministry Pastor
Woody has been a member of NCC for over two years. He comes from a strong praise and worship background. He received his training in worship leading from two distinguished Christian Colleges and has completed a practicum in Atlanta, Ga a number of years ago. He has a strong passion and a heart to see God’s Glory revealed in corporate worship. In the Spring of 2011 he married his wife Sherry, and together they continue to serve at NCC.
Alli Allen
Interim - Youth Pastor
Alli has been involved in youth ministry for several years. She has a strong desire to see the youth of NCC discover their destiny in God and to live unashamedly and boldly for Christ. Through teaching the Word and cultivating relationships, high schoolers receive regular ministry in prayer, the Word, worship from their own worship team, and lots of fellowship with other youth. Alli is excited about what the Lord has for the high schoolers of NCC and the surrounding region.
Jim Dorris - Visitation Pastor
Jim is our newest staff member to join our New Covenant leadership team. As the Visitation Pastor, Jim assists Pastor Dave in church assimilation, pastoral visitation and counseling. Jim is involved in a variety of ministries including Kairos prison ministry.
Jim and his wife Judy have been committed members at New Covenant for many years and have served the church in a variety of ways.
Mike Caulley
Administrative Pastor
Mike retired from the business world in 1998, having previously worked as a CPA and controller for several businesses. After a short retirement period, he joined New Covenant Church in 1999 to primarily handle the administrative and business affairs of the church. Mike also serves as the Missions Pastor for the church overseeing the missions (foreign and domestic) supported by15% of the church’s tithes and offerings. Mike and his wife, Wendy, have been married since 1966 and have three adult sons and nine grandchildren.






Joan Caldwell - Administrative Assistant
& Dance Team Leader
Joan Caldwell and her husband were founding members of New Covenant Church where Bill serves as a deacon. They have three daughters, who are all grown
and following the Lord. Joan has been on staff at New Covenant Church since
1999. She serves as Administrative Assistant to Pastor Dave, church secretary,
coordinator of special events and Wedding Planner.
Joan has a Bachelors of Science Degree, a Masters Degree., and taught
public school for eleven years. She is the leader of the Kadosh Adonai Dance
ministry at New Covenant. Kadosh Adonai is Hebrew for “Holy unto the Lord.”
The purpose is to draw God’s people closer to Him through worship so they
can better walk in holiness. Joan is studying to become a licensed Minister of
Dance. She has taught dance workshops throughout the south and has had the
privilege of teaching in the Dominican Republic on two different occasions. She
also has had the honor of dancing at the Garden Tomb in Israel.
Cheryl Rehberg
Interim - Children's Pastor
Cheryl Rehberg has been a member of New Covenant for the past 3 years and responded to the call to serve NCC in a greater capacity by filling in since this past June of 2011 when our Children's Pastor (Sue Stanton) was unable to continue to lead the Children's ministry. Cheryl and her husband Jeff have served children in a youth organization sponsored by the Navy League called The United States Naval Sea Cadet Corp. Together, they share a passion to see kids of all ages reach their full potential in Christ through the work of the Holy Spirit.
