Prayer Ministries
We believe in the power of prayer!  Because of this, we have several different prayer ministries…

Weekly corporate prayer happens on Wednesday nights at 6:00pm.  We call this time – “Fire By Night Prayer!” We meet in the sanctuary and incorporate live-streaming prayer from International House of Prayer in Kansas City, as well as Video recorded prayer from other Spirit filled prayer streams.  Worship and praise music is also a part of the evening as well as prayer for the 7 mountains of our culture.

We have a 365, 24/7 Prayer Shield ministry which consists of committed prayer warriors interceding on behalf of prayer requests that come in to the church office by way of email, phone or text.  To place a prayer request on the network, feel free to email us at www.prayer@nccthomasville.org  or  contact the office at 229/226-3246.

Our Intercessory Prayer Ministry meets during the 9:00 am Sunday School hour weekly.  This ministry is open to anyone who is interested in praying for the needs of the church family.  This group meets on the adult education wing behind the sanctuary.

We host an annual prayer workshop in the Fall of the year to teach and encourage the church to pray.

We have what we call a 7 Mountain Prayer Ministry.  This ministry is devoted to praying for the 7 mountains of our culture.  These seven mountains are identified as being …. Arts & entertainment, Business, Education, Family, Government, Media, and Religion.  We believe that Jesus has given The Church the responsibility of having “boots on the ground” on each of these mountains so that the Kingdom of God will be advanced, and we will see our communities and nation transformed for Jesus Christ!
We believe that in order for the church to impact our culture we must pray and then obey what
the Lord says regarding the Great Commission.
